JP Richardson, CEO of Exodus ($EXOD), which offers a multi-cryptocurrency wallet, is among perhaps under 20 invited attendees who are at today’s White House Crypto Summit, hosted by Donald Trump.
Writing for Bitcoin News, Alex Lari informed readers Monday,
“The summit will be led by venture capitalist David Sacks who is the White House’s AI and ‘Crypto Czar.’ Bo Hines, the executive director of the president’s Working Group on Digital Assets will also be managing the event. Trump will be delivering remarks.”
Punctuating the importance of a strategic bitcoin reserve, Sacks posted Thursday that the federal government sold near 195,000 bitcoin for $366 million, which would be worth over $17 billion today if we’d held, adding,
“That’s how much it has cost American taxpayers not to have a long-term strategy.”
Adding to the many voices debating the makeup of the proposed reserve, Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsely posted,
“I imagined a Strategic Reserve would be just Bitcoin. That makes the most sense to me.”
Thursday, Exodus’ Richardson posted,
“I’ve seen a lot of lists of attendees posted for the Digital Assets Summit at the White House tomorrow. Many of these lists are not accurate.
@EleanorTerrett has the most accurate list.”
Fox Business journalist Eleanor Terrett posted the comprehensive list of all she knew of at the time, tagging each attendee and their companies.
Bitcoin News thanks Terrett, and offers her list for readers here. This page may be updated as new information becomes available.
